Our youth theater education program consists of 2 semesters during the school year and a summer camp (click here for photos).

During the regular semesters, our program is divided into 3 age groups as follows:

Imagineers: Our acting troupe for grades 3 – 5.  The instruction is geared toward children and designed to help them discover their stage voice, confidence in front of others, and self-assurance they will use while growing up.  The main focus of this group will be learning the vast amount of available human emotion, and using their entire body to convey each emotion to their audience.  Class meets Tuesdays from 4pm – 5pm or 5:15pm – 6:15pm

Dramatic Addicts: Our acting troupe for grades 6 – 8.  The instruction targets the pre-teen age and educates the idea of of a community on stage.  Through the responsibility of a production, the students will learn how to rely on and trust others by achieving personal and social acceptance.  This group will spotlight on one objective throughout a scene that will enable them to portray their emotions convincingly.  Class meets Wednesdays from 4:15pm – 5:15pm

Teen Troupe: Our acting troupe for grades 9 – 12.  The instruction is engineered to build self-esteem and provide the knowledge needed for theater in high school and upon entry to college.  The focal point of this class will be learning the actors motivation and accurately conveying that to the audience by use of action verbs through scene analysis.
Class meets Wednesdays from 5:30pm – 6:30pm
